| Claude Mattern is the technical analyst on the Forex at BNP PARIBAS. Before joining BNP in 1989, Claude Mattern was an economist at the Banque Federative du Credit Mutuel in Strasbourg. At the Economic Research Department of BNP from October 1989 TO March 1995, Claude was responsible of the Technical Analysis Team, providing daily forecasts on FX, Future Interest Rates and CAC 40 for Dealing Rooms and customers ("PreviChange). When Claude joined the dealing room, he also ran proprietary positions. Since the merge with PARIBAS, he is responsible for the daily technical analysis on FX through the well recognised publication "TechViews". Claude has a DESS (Master's degree) in International Finance and Economics from the University of Louis Pasteur - Strasbourg, and a Technical Analysis Diploma from the Society of Technical Analysis (United Kingdom). He is currently the Vice President of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA - more than 5000 colleagues from 20 countries). Claude appears regularly on financial TV networks. He is a speaker at conferences and a lecturer on technical analysis seminars. | |
